50th International Military Appreciation Tour

1Source sponsored the 2015 Military appreciation tour for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, making this their 50th tour show since 1999.  The First Ladies of Football toured 18 days in October to perform numerous shows and good will visits to armed forces serving in Southwest Asia.

The Redskins Cheerleaders are the longest running professional NFL cheerleading organization. In addition to performing on the sidelines, the First Ladies have also performed worldwide.  They have participated in numerous Department of Defense tours to entertain U.S. servicemen and women.  These tours have included Egypt, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Kosovo, and others for a total of over 35 countries.

“Supporting our military men, women and families is one of the cheerleaders’ major focuses,” said Stephanie Jojokian, Director/Choreographer Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. “These ladies volunteer repeatedly and take time away from their careers and families to go overseas, say thank you and bring them smiles and cheer.  It is just a small token of appreciation. We look forward to doing another 50 tours.”

1Source is a proud sponsor of the 50th tour and has sponsored several previous tours stateside and abroad as well.
